Scientists say that a planet called VHS 1256b is a relatively young world, 150 million years old. By the way, the Earth is 4.5 billion years old.

The Webb Space Telescope has discovered a new exoplanet. It is located near the Earth. Gizmodo writes about it.

It is noted that the exoplanet has a “sandy” cloud. It is located 40 light years from Earth. A day there lasts 22 Earth hours, and a year – 10 thousand Earth years.

The exoplanet is named VHS 1256b. It revolves around two stars.

The telescope was able to see it thanks to the NIRSpec and MIRI instruments.

The dense clouds of the planet are composed of silicates. In their lower layers, the structure changes and becomes denser.

Scientists say that these clouds have very high temperatures. It is well known that they are constantly moving. Therefore, the atmosphere of the planet is the most variable.

Also in the exoplanet there are signs of the presence of water, methane, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.

We remind you, early astronomers found a new rocky planet. Scientists suggest that it may have favorable conditions for life.
