The previously announced abolition of the Ministry of Education No. 1112 from July 18, which concerns distance learning in schools, does not mean the abolition of distance learning, since the safety of children remains a priority in the war.
This was announced today, July 17, in his Telegam channel, the deputy prime minister, the minister of innovation, the development of education, science and technology, Mikhail Fedorov.
Remote training will not be canceled. Children’s safety is our key priority. We live in war, so distance learning will remain an element of the educational process, ”he said. – The quality of the distance is a priority. Education in autonomous format is possible only to guarantee that the life of children does not threaten.
According to Fedor, the reason for the abolition of order No. 1112 is protests by communities and deputies from the probability of closing schools to the front -line, where children are less than provided in classes.
It is thanks to these provisions that order No. 1112 will be canceled. We are building underground schools and modern shelters so that children can safely study in autonomous mode in accordance with any conditions, ”he added. – We will continue to achieve our goal, taking into account the needs and requests of students, parents and teachers.
It should be added that in June the Ministry of Education announced amendments to orders No. 1112 (dated August 7, 2024) and No. 1115 (dated September 8, 2020), which determine the features of the organization of distance learning in the combat position. As a result, in accordance with the rules of these documents, the minimum number of students in the class class should be 20 children, but the founders of schools can reduce this number:
- up to 10 students – for institutions in temporarily occupied border territories, in villages and settlements of all Ukraine;
- Up to 15 students – for institutions in other cities.
