The average cash dollar selling rate decreased to UAH 41.75, and the euro exchange rate increased to UAH 44.30.
The hryvnia exchange rate slightly strengthened against the dollar at exchange offices at the beginning of the new working week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with market monitoring data on Monday, December 9.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar decreased by 5 kopecks, to 41.75 Hryvnia, the euro rate increased by 10 kopecks, to 44.30 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 41.25 UAH, and euros for 43.60 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 41.40-41.42 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – still compared to the previous day’s close.
On Friday, the National Bank lowered the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate on Monday for the third day after the historical maximum – 41.4446 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.1529 UAH). The official euro exchange rate is 43.8567 UAH (+0.0421 UAH).
We remind you that in November, Ukraine’s international reserves increased by 9.2% (by $3.347 billion), to $39.925 billion. Their volume increased after the contract for two months.
