The head of state statistics service, Arsen Makarchuk, said it was incorrect to check the inflation in the “borscht set”.
The borshchit set is not a statistical indicator. It does not require any European policies. This was declared by state service head of Arsen Makarchuk.
According to him, the borsch has no universal recipe, which means that calculating its value will always be subjective.
“Borsch is all in different ways, take different amounts of products, different quantities. We tried to make such a calculation on our own. It is as biased as possible, because the recipe we want, other people may want other proportions,” the head of state statistics service explained.
At the same time, the department tried to calculate the cost of a three -liter borsch pot. According to estimates, in the Kharkov region, the lean borsch costs about 80 hryvnias, and has meat – 141.80 hryvnias.
As Makarchuk noted, it is incorrect to check inflation only through “borscht.”
“We don’t eat borsch day -day and it’s exclusively. To check inflation, it’s important to have a wider set, which includes only products, but also paying utilities, energy carriers, gasoline and other household costs,” he emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that the borsch index in the annual size grew by 27%, reaching 196 hryvnias. There is a significant increase in meat prices.
Remember that products for products in Ukraine approach European, some of which have exceeded them.
