The most awaited day for DIVE’s has finally arrived! On the night of this Wednesday, 26th, the IVE will perform for the first time in Brazil with the ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE’ tour, making a unique stop at Espaço Unimed, in São Paulo. To celebrate this moment, RECREIO separated five songs from the girl group for you to listen to before enjoying the show; check out:
1. ELEVEN
Through their debut single ‘ELEVEN’, IVE expresses the discovery of love and the emotions it awakens. During the chorus, the line “You make me feel turned up to eleven” can be interpreted as something that goes beyond the limits of what we consider normal, expressing the overwhelming feelings of the members; listen to the track and watch the MV!
2. LOVE DIVE
Currently, ‘LOVE DIVE’ is the track that accumulates the most plays on IVE’s Spotify, and this is due to a super infectious rhythm and a composition that involves the process of being in love. The song was released in 2022, being the girl group’s second single which also has an MV; watch!
3. After LIKE
‘After LIKE’, which was also released in 2022, is another track that talks about love, but here the members express a certain uncertainty about their own feelings, as well as an interest in knowing what comes after the act of liking someone. A curious fact about the MV is that in the final part, where we see Yujin, Wonyoung, Rei, Leeseo, Liz It is Gaeul dancing in front of the fireworks, created a trend on social media, where fans reproduced the scene.
4. I AM
The track ‘I AM’ makes up IVE’s first full album, and, unlike previous songs, this one reinforces issues such as individuality and self-affirmation. Showcasing luxurious sets and even some planes, giving the idea that no one can take them down, the members also encourage the listener to believe and trust in themselves; Listen!
5. Accendio
‘Accendio’ is one of the girl group’s most recent releases, and it will certainly be on the setlist for today’s show. The song begins with the members making a confession to a priest, then unfolding into feelings of duality, as expressed in the chorus lines “Love me, don’t hurt me” and “Watch me, don’t touch me”.
