Part of the company’s internal processes were moved from a digital paper format, which is why failures arise.
After a huge -scale attack on the cyber, Russian Aeroflot’s aeroflot was forced to slightly return to work in manu -manu -man. Flight attendants and pilots are now receiving important information about flights through messengers, specifically WhatsApp and Telegram, or personally – through a shipping call. On Saturday, August 2, the Russian publication was reported to be reference to resources.
It was noted that due to cyber attacks, the Russian chord system failed, computers in offices were turned off, and some of the internal processes were moved from digital paper format.
In some cases, failures arise – for example, many personnel can be assigned to the same flight, or to forget to identify the senior flight attendant on a large aircraft.
The situation is complicated by the fact that experienced specialists who since the Soviet plan planned flights without complex computer programs last year retired. Current employees are often inexperienced.
Earlier, the next fall to the Air Force on July 5-7, flight attendants were waiting a lot of time to shipping without providing a food or hotel, and not fixing the work on Overtime. Due to the dispersion of the aircraft at various airports in Moscow, the staff had to get a taxi on their own, spending their own funds about it. Payment from the company has delays.
According to hackers, during the attack they managed to access data on flights, internal documentation and negotiation notes, as well as destroy about 7,000 servers. In the following days, Aeroflot announced the partial workstabilization of the work, but a full -fledged digital infrastructure has not been restored.
Remember, on July 28, serious air transport problems arose in Russia. Aeroflot announced the removal of more than 40 flights from Moscow due to “failure of information systems”. The responsibility for attacking was taken by two hackers – quiet crow and the cyber partisans.
As reported, the further development of events depends on whether the backups (data backups) exist and whether the hackers reached them. In particular, if there are backups, then the restoration will “take from one or two days to a week”, and in another case, the moon may take restoration.
