A new service has appeared on the Diya portal – Ukrainians can update information about their place of residence.
A new service has been launched on the Diya portal – you can now correct the data on the declared place of residence in the register in a few clicks. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on Wednesday, June 26.
You can use the service if:
-
there was an error when ordering a residence extract;
-
there is outdated data in your or your child’s statement;
-
no place of residence in your Dii passport, even if you are registered;
-
Invalid registration date on digital passport.
A statement of residence will be required when getting married, opening a bank account, enrolling a child in kindergarten, employment and other life situations. So the data in it should always be up to date.
Data updating in the Register of Territorial Societies is available in Ukraine, except for Odessa, Nikolaev and some communities from temporarily occupied territories and combat zones.
We remind you that a beta test of marriage, divorce and name change certificates was recently launched in the Diya application. With Dii, you can also automatically “pull up” the child’s birth certificate using the tax number.
As you know, the first marriages were registered in Dii by video conference. In total, 2.5 thousand couples signed up for the beta test of the digital marriage ceremony.
