Transnistria will remove the checkpoints on the border with Moldova – this is one of the requirements for the supply of gas to the region.
The company of the United Control Commission from Transistria said that after the dismantling of control points in the security zone, peacekeepers and military observers will check whether these checkpoints really were removed and report this.
OCC is a joint body that controls the compliance with the agreement on the peacekeeping mission to Dneister. His work was partially blocked, which in 2022 did not confess the unrecognized Transnistria installed control points.
These actions violated the security zone. This caused criticism from Chisinau. Now that the checkpoints are cleaned, Transnistria announces its readiness to restore the usual work of the commission.
The security zone is a demilitarized territory along the Dniester, which was created after a military conflict between the Moldova and the self -proclaimed transnein.
Transnistria will now provide gas to the Hungarian company with the participation of Moldovagaz. They will do this at the expense of a loan from the Russian Federation. Moldova will not interfere with the transit of this gas, but instead, the thugs should release political prisoners, solve the problems of the lyceum in the Ribnis, preserve the public television of Moldovan in the broadcasting network and remove the control posts.
Earlier it became known that Transnistria will receive gas from Hungary through lending from Russia, said Vadim Krasnoselsky fake leader of the unrecognized region.
According to him, the supply of European gas to Transnistria from the first tranche of assistance is completed. He thanked EU officials for gas, which helped restore the region’s energy system. The Hungarian company with the participation of Moldovagaz will provide gas.
Hungarian delivery became possible thanks to Russian credit and functional support. I thank representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation for their help, ”Krasnoselsky said.
On the eve of Moldova and the European Commission, they developed a plan for the cessation of the humanitarian crisis in Transnetrics. One of the points mentioned on “emergency intervention” for the period from February 1 to February 10.
During this period, the EU offered a grant for 30 million euros for buying natural gas. During this time, 26.275 million cubic meters of gas arrived in the region.
The EU also proposed 60 million euros to support the inhabitants of an unrecognized transnetri, but only under certain conditions – if the region has carried out reforms in human rights. Subsequently, the Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin said that the authorities of an unrecognized transnetri abandoned energy assistance.
