A pre-trial investigation under four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in one of Kolomoisky’s cases has been completed.
The Shevchenko court changed the preventive measure for businessman Igor Kolomoisky from imprisonment to a bail of UAH 1.877 billion. However, he has another suspicion, according to which the preventive measure – prevention – has not been changed. This was reported by the Public on Thursday, August 29.
The measure of Kolomoisky’s detention was changed from imprisonment to bail in the amount requested by the senior detective of the Main Detective Unit of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine. We are talking about UAH 1,877,360,000.
The preventive measure will expire in a few days – September 2, 2024, the businessman’s lawyer asked to release Kolomoisky after that.
“However, as far as I know, there is another resolution of the investigative judge of the Pechersky District Court, according to which the period of detention of Igor Valerievich was extended in the framework of another criminal trial, Therefore, he will continue custody,” explained a lawyer.

The defense explained that, according to the requirements of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, Kolomoisky should have been released from custody, but the Shevchenko court could not release him because there were other proceedings. According to it, Kolomoisky will be held until October 25.
As is known, the oligarch has been in the detention center of the Security Service of Ukraine since September 2, 2023, on suspicion of fraud and belonging to the Bureau of Economic Security.
Let’s add that the Shevchenko District Court of Kyiv extended the preventive measure for businessman Igor Kolomoisky until September 2, 2024.
