The defendant reported to the FSB the consequences of the aggressor’s double missile strike on Odessa on March 15 of this year.
A member of an FSB intelligence group operating in different regions of Ukraine was detained. The attackers directed missile attacks in Kyiv, Odessa, as well as in Zhitomir and Poltava regions. The SBU reported this on May 14.
It was noted that two Russian agents were detained in March of this year. Employees of the Ukrainian special service found and detained the third member of the enemy group in Odessa.
According to the case materials, he reported to the FSB the consequences of the aggressor’s double missile strike in the center of the region on March 15 of this year.
The Russians then attacked a residential area of the city with two ballistic missiles Iskander. One of them fell in a civilian area, leading to many casualties among local residents. And when rescuers, ambulance workers and journalists arrived at the scene, the invaders attacked them with a second missile.
After clearing the enemy, the agent walked around the area near the destroyed buildings and secretly recorded the consequences of the “arrival.” He then sent the relevant media files with his comments to the FSB via messenger, along with the estimated death toll.
Subsequently, the attacker prepared a series of Russian air strikes against local hospitals, as well as units of the State Border Guard Service, National Guard and State Emergency Service.
SBU officers detained a Russian agent in his own home. He turned out to be a 27-year-old resident of the temporarily occupied by Energodar, who left for Odessa six months after the capture of the city. At the beginning of this year, the migrant was recruited by a staff of the FSB department for Moscow and the Moscow region. For cooperation with the Russian intelligence service, the traitor received money from it, which was transferred to his bank details.
The suspect is aware of the suspicion and is in custody. The man faces up to life in prison.
Let’s recall that the Security Service prevented a series of missile and drone attacks by the aggressor on the military and critical infrastructure of the Rivne region.
It was previously reported that the SBU prevented terrorist attacks planned by the Russian Federation in Kyiv. The SBU acted proactively, and the perpetrators of the terrorist attack were caught in vain. An evidence base has also been collected that conclusively proves Russia’s footprint.
