Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, together with his wife Elena Zelensky noted the outstanding Ukrainians of the State Prize “National Legend of Ukraine”.
Zelensky reported this today, August 20, on his pages on social networks, publishing the relevant photos.
Ukraine is a country of incredible people. Smart, strong, talented. Real legends. From different spheres and generations. But they are united by the main thing: they inspire, glorify our country in the world and create history today, ”said Zelensky. – It is a great honor for us to celebrate such people with the National Legend of Ukraine National Prize.
The president’s website reports that the award received this year:
- Swyatoslav Vakarchuk – singer, musician, leader of the Ocean Elsa group;
- Volodymyr Gorbulin – First Vice -President of the NAS of Ukraine;
- Yaroslav Maguchi – Athletics, Olympic champion. The prize will be awarded after returning to Ukraine from the line;
- Sergius Lifar-Ballet Artist and Ballet Master (posthumous. This year, Ukraine celebrates its 120th birthday, the award will be awarded the Kyiv dance Academy, named after Serge Lifrar);
- Lyudmila Monastyrska – Opera Singer;
- Anatoly Krivolap is an artist. The artist twice set world records of sales of work of modern Ukrainian art in the international arthrink;
- Andriy Seminkov – captain of the medical service, writer;
- James Konstantin Temrte – philanthropist;
- Vasily Zinkevich – singer, People’s Artist of Ukraine.
- The SBU team, which participated in a web special operation.
The national legend of Ukraine was represented in 2021. Every year, people who have contributed to the formation and protection of Ukraine, the development of the national economy, science, education, culture, art, sports, health care, as well as for active charitable and social activity are noted.
