The capacity of Russian refineries idled due to the attacks has dropped to about 10% from almost 14% at the end of March. And the total capacity of primary oil refining in Russia, idle through drones, decreased to 90 thousand 500 tons per day from approximately 123 thousand 800 tons per day earlier. Reuters writes about this.
It is noted that there were no new reports of the defeat of Russian refineries after the Taneco plant was attacked on April 2. The article says that the aggressor country is quickly rebuilding its oil refineries, despite difficulties in obtaining Western technology.
It is indicated that the Russians have returned to operation the CDU-4 primary oil refining unit and the main CDU-6 unit at the Ryazan plant. The Kuibyshev Refinery also started operating again because the CDU-4, CDU-5 and CDU-6 units were repaired.
However, Reuters writes that Russia’s total primary oil refining capacity, out of commission due to various shutdowns and maintenance, is expected to reach 4.4 million tons in April, up from 4.1 million tons in March. .
Let us recall that Reuters reported that after a series of successful attacks by long-range drones of the SBU on Russian refineries, Moscow asked Kazakhstan to be ready to supply it with 100 thousand tons of gasoline. Belarus also volunteered to help the aggressor country with gasoline.
