Ukraine imposed new sanctions against the Russian Federation.
President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees No. 579/2025 and No. 580/2025 on the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of August 3, 2025 “On the use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)”. This was reported on the website of the head of state.
The first package of sanctions applies to 62 people and companies that participate in the export of grain stolen from occupied territories, illegal production and enrichment of minerals. The correction list also included the captains of the SO Fleet -Danced Grain.
The second package of sanctions is applied to 15 leaders of Russian museums, which organize the assignment of Ukrainian cultural values. The list was, in particular, the director of the Russian Ethnographic Museum, which opened the exhibition “Multinational Russia” in the occupied Berdyuansk, which includes exhibits from Ukrainian museums.
We will recall that on July 27, Volodymyr Zelenskyy President sanctions against 90 enterprises and persons working in the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. These sanctions are associated with the production, processing and supply of rare earth and rare metals, which are key for the production of electronics, guidelines, engines and drones.
