Poland will have the largest number of tanks in Europe

In addition, Warsaw has made military purchases in the United States, especially Abrams, Apache, Himars and Patriot Missile Defense Helicopters tanks. The US defense minister during an official visit praised Poland’s role as a key allies.

In addition to the tanks itself, the new contract includes providing an additional 81 auxiliary vehicles, training military personnel, maintenance and technology programs.

Poland also plans to increase military presence on the border with Belarus as part of the Vostochny Shield project aimed at strengthening the boundaries including Russia and Belarus.

Poland’s border service also presents about installing an electronic fence on the Polish-Belarusian border water sections and the Polish-Belarusian border as a whole. More than 500 supports for cameras and more than 1.3 thousand cameras are installed.
