Estonia police, along with the Rotary Club business community, sent 22 police cars to Ukraine this week. This was reported by ERR.
It was noted that some of the cars were purchased for donations.
The party includes 13 Volkswagen Amarok, eight škoda scala and a Nissan Patrol. Cars will be transferred to the Border Service of Ukraine and Kherson’s police, Zhytomyr, Sum and Chernigov.
According to the general police director and Jaerta Belichov’s Border Guard Department (PPA), after the first cars were sent to Ukraine, Estonian police leadership was thinking about how to help Ukraine.
Along with the Capital Rotary Club, police have collected donations for 75,000 euros. For this money, eight škoda scala was purchased for Ukraine’s needs – cars previously used in the PPA for leasing. Other transferred cars were owned by the PPA, but the Estonian police no longer used it.
According to the publication, since 2024, Estonia has moved police vehicles to Ukraine a third time in the third time. In total, 57 operational services were sent to Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that Estonia had passed new parties of artillery ammunition in Ukraine.
Keep in mind that Estonian ministry has confirmed that Estonia plans to continue supporting Ukraine at least 0.25% of GDP a year, and this year the amount of help will increase.
