Kyiv’s Pechersky District Court on Thursday, January 18, sent under arrest the second defendant in the case of supplying low-quality clothing to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where businessman Igor Grinkevich and his son appeared which is Roman. Ukrinform reports this in relation to the press secretary of the Office of the Prosecutor General Nadezhda Maksimets.
“At the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the court arrested the second defendant in criminal proceedings for supplying low-quality clothing to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he said.
Maksimets noted that, as an alternative, the court specified the possibility of bailing the suspect in the amount of UAH 500,001,528 (165,126 subsistence minimum).
It was earlier reported that the first person involved in the case was arrested on the same bail.

The Ministry of Defense terminated the agreements concluded with Grinkevich. The businessman’s family property and controlled companies were seized.
