The National Police of Ukraine states that a video from Russian media purporting to be about a shooting of a TCC employee is a fake.
“During the surveillance, the police discovered a two-second video in the Russian media, which was described as a moment when an unknown person shot an employee of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, allegedly during the delivery process of summonses. that the National Police allegedly published this content,” – said the message.
The police report the forgery and provide specific arguments.
“We inform you that during a preliminary examination with the participation of employees of the criminal investigation unit, it was found that the specified video contains signs of forgery: the published fragment of the video is not shows characteristic features inherent to a shot from a gun; the inscriptions on the vest of the depicted person are illegible, probably written in foreign letters, and TCC SP employees, while on duty, wear camouflage that clothes and no reflective vests; the watermark on the video is a fake NPU watermark and does not match where the official video is marked,” the police said.
It was also learned that the police received no notification regarding the killing or wounding of a TCC SP employee.
