US President Donald Trump wants to conclude an agreement on the termination of the Russian Federation against Ukraine by August 8.
The United States officially reported this at the United Nations Security Council. The corresponding statement on July 31 before 15 members of the UN Security Council were made by a senior American diplomat John Kelly, Reuters reports.
Both Russia and Ukraine must agree on a ceasefire and a strong world. It’s time to conclude an agreement. President Trump made it clear that this should be done by August 8, he said.
Kelly emphasized that the states “are ready to take additional measures to ensure peace.”
We will recall that on July 14, US President Donald Trump during a meeting with NATO General Mark Rutte said that he was “very dissatisfied” with Russian President Vladimir Putin and intends to introduce “very stringent duties” if it is impossible to reach a ceasefire in Ukraine within 50 days.
Already on July 28, Trump in Scotland said that for Russia there is a deadline to complete the war against Ukraine for up to 10 days, and after that the “responsibilities and other measures” in the country of the aggressor will be introduced. Nevertheless, the American leader did not rule out that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants to continue the war.
