China has successfully launched the space of a new Pakistani satellite of distant investigations on the PSS-1 land. CGTN reported it on Thursday, July 31.
The spacecraft was brought to the orbit of the Kuayzhou-1A (KZ-1A) vehicle launch, which began from the Sichuan Cosmodrome to southwest China. PSS-1 successfully went to a given near-ground orbit.
The satellite will be used mainly for the research of land resources, warning about natural disasters and avoiding their consequences.
The Kuijou-1A launch vehicle is 19.4 m long, a diameter of 1.4 m and a starting mass of 30 tons. A solid fuel missile is designed to launch a low -earth orbit of satellites weighing less than 300 kg.
