Applicants, registered and located in the temporarily occupied territory, will be able to go through all the procedures of the admission campaign remotely.
Such applicants will be able to conclude an agreement on receiving education within three months after the start of their studies.
This was announced by the Minister of Education and Science Sergei Shkarlett.
Such applicants will be able to conclude an agreement on receiving education within three months after the start of their studies.
The use of benefits for residents of especially dangerous territories will be determined in the spring, taking into account the situation in Ukraine.
As you know, the Ministry of Education and Science, together with the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment, presented a model for conducting a national multi-subject test (NMT), based on the results of which there will be a competitive selection of applicants for higher education in 2023.
In 2023, NMT will contain three block editions. Two are mandatory, the third is optional.
Compulsory subjects are Ukrainian language and mathematics. Elective subjects are the history of Ukraine, one of the foreign languages, biology, chemistry and physics.
The third subject of NMT is universal, that is, the applicant will be able to enter any specialty with the subject that he has chosen.
For admission to different specialties, different coefficients will be applied to the results of NMT. If an applicant enrolls in the legal field of study, the result in the history of Ukraine will be more important than in biology, and on the medical one, on the contrary.
NMT will take place in one day. Testing will last 180 minutes. Participants will be able to independently allocate their time to complete tasks in different subjects.
After completing all the NMT tasks, each participant will receive information on the number of test points for each block.
For the competitive selection, the results of each block, translated into a scale of 100-200 points, will be used.
To obtain a result on a scale of 100-200 points for each block of NMT, you need to score at least 10% of the total number of test points.
Registration for the evaluation will take place in April. This year paperless registration of participants will be provided. It is planned to hold two sessions of the NMT: main and additional. The main one will take place in June, the additional one – in June-July.
The additional testing session will be attended by applicants who, for good reasons, will not pass the test during the main one.
NMT will be held in equipped computer classrooms, created both in Ukraine and abroad.
In testing on the history of Ukraine, participants will work with tasks related to the events of the second half of the 16th – early 21st centuries.
In testing in foreign languages there will be no tasks with an open form of answer, just as there will be no tasks for listening.
When working with tests in mathematics, applicants will be able to use reference materials.
Instead of the results of NMT 2023, it will be possible to use the results of NMT 2022 or the results of the EIT 2021 or 2020.
