The investigation is underway under articles on abuse of power or official position, which caused grave consequences (Article 364) and on the offer, promise or withdrawal of unlawful benefits by an official (Article 368).
UP journalist Mikhail Tkach claims that Lozinsky was allegedly taken on a bribe of $400,000.
Lozinsky is considered a close person to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Shmyhal, because of which it is possible to resolve some personal issues with the head of government, journalist Yuriy Butusov believes.
According to UP sources, NABU detained the deputy minister because of bribes on generators. Lozinsky is accused of taking a bribe in the amount of 400 thousand dollars. The total purchase amount was UAH 1.8 billion.
