This Tuesday, starting at 10:00, the election of a new Board of Directors Congress of the Republic. Know how this process will work.

The process of electing the Board of Directors
According to senior officer Congress, Hugo Rovira, the day starts at 10:00. The President of the Congress will require that the relevant articles of the regulation be read, where the procedure is explained.
Then four lists will be read, which will participate in the elections. Following this, two observers from the majority caucuses (“Free Peru” and “Power of the People”) will be invited to act as “buckets” or observers of the electoral process.
First of all, members Board of Directors. Then tellers and parliamentarians in alphabetical order. After voting, observers must sign 130 ballots to ensure that the ballots have not been changed.

Second round
For a list to be considered a winner, it must receive 66 votes. Otherwise, a second round will be held between the two most voted.
