The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed the defeat of a communications center and mortar crew of the DPRK army in the Kursk region. GUR reports this on its Facebook page on Thursday, December 26.

On December 22, 2024, as a result of a successful strike by the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces, probably on one of the main communication centers of the North Korean army, a sharp decrease in radio traffic between the military of the DPRK was recorded .
On December 24, 2024, North Korean units involved in the war against Ukraine conducted military operations, in particular, in the Darino-Novoivanovka area of the Kursk region which they fired from a mortar/AGS with arrangements using UAVs. Enemy personnel change positions and are located at a distance of about a kilometer from the battle line.
