Russian resources are again spreading manipulations around the situation in the Kursk NPP, accusing Ukraine of creating a nuclear security threat.

Russia’s propaganda is again trying to accuse Ukraine of creating a threat of nuclear security, spreading fakes about alleged fire in the Kursk NPP due to the Ukrainian drone. It reports about it Countering Center of Misinformation Sunday, August 24th.

“Russia’s resources have again spread manipulations around the situation in the Kursk NPP, accusing Ukraine of creating a threat of nuclear security,” the report said.

The alleged fire of the transformer block was reported, which does not belong to the atomic part of the station. The fire allegedly occurred due to the confusion of the Ukrainian UAV.

At the same time, Magate reported that he had no independent data confirmation about “fires as a result of hate.”

“The Russian Federation attempt to blame Ukraine allegedly delivering targets of attacks on the Kursk NPP and the manipulations around the issue of atom safety are common methods for Russia’s propaganda to discredit Ukraine and justify its own invasion,” the CPD added.

The center remembers that Russia repeatedly spreads such fakes. In fact, the threat of nuclear security was carried out by the actions of the Russian Federation, which obtained the nuclear power plant of zaporizhzhya.

Note that on the night of August 24, the Ukraine drones invaded the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. According to local publics, the city of Kurchatov was under the blow, and a fire occurred in the Kursk NPP territory.
