At the end of November, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced that the number of North Korean troops on Russian territory had reached 11 thousand.

The North Korean military is still located in Russia’s Kursk region. They did not take part in battles, but they were ready to engage in battle at any moment. Sabrina Singh, Deputy Press Secretary of the US Department of Defense, said this on Monday, December 9, Ukrinform reports.

“DPRK troops are still in the Kursk region,” he said.

Also, a representative of the US defense department informed that the American side has not yet seen North Korean troops directly engaged in hostilities.

“We know they are ready to fight and we continue to monitor the situation,” he concluded.

We remind you that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that many North Korean soldiers will be sent to the front line in the future. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will use them as “cannon fodder.”
