The downing of a DHL cargo plane in Lithuania could be a kind of test for Russia to identify “spill sites.”

The downing of a DHL cargo plane in Lithuania may have been a kind of “test” by Russia to “discover weak points,” Bundeswehr Inspector General Carsten Breuer said. This was reported by Die Welt on Wednesday, November 27.

“We’ve faced a similar situation this summer, and now an incident has occurred that somehow fits this pattern,” Breuer explained.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin is creating a situation that is not quite peace, but not yet war, to test how far it will go.

Earlier, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said that after Russia’s destructive actions, every plane crash could raise suspicions about the intervention of Russian intelligence services.

We remind you that a DHL B737-400 cargo plane crashed near Vilnius Airport (Lithuania) on Monday morning, November 25. The aircraft crashed into a two-story residential building on Žirnu Street in the Lithuanian capital.
