Ukraine and Poland agreed to create a joint operating group of unmanned aviation systems.
This was announced today, August 18, at a press conference with the Minister of Defense of Poland, Vladislav Kosinyuk-Kkishham Denis Schmigal, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
Today we agreed on a number of important steps. The first is the creation of a joint operational group of unmanned aviation systems, which will include representatives of the Ukrainian and Polish Armed Forces, ”Schmigal said.
According to him, this group will become a platform for coordinating and developing general initiatives:
We will integrate the latest protection technologies and initiate new projects that must strengthen the protection of our people and our critical infrastructure.
Schmigal noted that the central element of this joint operational group will be joint training programs.
What, I am sure, will strengthen our ability to resist the common enemy, ”he added.
