Changes will allow mail operators and international couriers to avoid delays and fines due to the inability to pay customs duties.
The National Bank has decided to facilitate two more currency restrictions. This was reported by the NBU Personselb.
It has been noted that, in the circulation of postal operators suffering due to suspension of restless regime for parcels imported to the United States, the NBU allows NBU from September 18, 2025 to make cross-border transfers for payment of customs payments if the recipient is the customary or tax service of the States.
The rules for applying limits for customer operations outside Ukraine using hryvnia accounts are also clarified – especially if one has a business account and an account for personal needs.
It is expected that the changes will allow postal operators and international couriers to avoid delays and fines due to the inability to pay for the fee. It should facilitate the delivery of goods and contribute to the work of small businesses using international trade.
The NBU added that such softening will not lead to an increase in volatility of the course or a significant decrease in international reserves. Expanding the possibilities of cross -border translations and improving policies for business accounts should make a system clearer.
Keep in mind that in August the NBU introduced a new package of money liberalization, providing permission to restore dividends for 2023, expanding forwards forward, support for the jewelry industry and additional opportunities for companies supporting Ukraine’s armed forces.
Earlier, in May, the NBU softened money restrictions and began implementing the stimulation of money liberalization. The purpose of the events is to promote the influx of further capital to the Ukraine economy.
