The Ukrainian leader did not confirm that in a 2019 phone conversation, Trump asked him for dirt on Joe Biden in exchange for military aid.

Former US President and current Republican candidate Donald Trump spoke positively about his relationship with Vladimir Zelensky, saying that the Ukrainian leader does not support the accusations against him during the impeachment scandal. He said this in an interview with The Washington Post.

“Zelensky and I are on good terms that I like it Zelensky,” Trump emphasized.

In particular, the reason for this seems to be Zelensky’s actions during the scandal over the possible impeachment of Trump.

The Ukrainian leader did not confirm that in a 2019 phone conversation, Trump asked him for dirt on Joe Biden in exchange for military aid. Otherwise, Trump faces impeachment.

The former president recalled the words of the Ukrainian head of state about their conversation.

“He could have said he didn’t know the conversation was being recorded. And instead of saying, ‘Yeah, there’s a feeling something is wrong,’ he said, ‘Trump didn’t do anything wrong,'” the presidential Candidate said of the US.

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky said that US presidential candidate Donald Trump promised him to support Ukraine if he wins the election.

Let’s remember that Zelensky recently met with Trump in New York and presented a plan for victory. Trump says he supports a just peace for Ukraine.
