The agreement will be extended until the end of June 2025. The Cabinet of Ministers is working to make it permanent.
On August 23, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a document that creates the legal basis for the extension of the “visa-free transport” agreement with the European Union. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmigal.
“We agreed with the EU that the agreement will be extended until the end of June 2025. And now we are working to make it indefinite,” said Szmigal.
He recalled that “transport visa-free” is the liberalization of cargo transportation, thanks to which Ukrainian companies can deliver goods to Europe without special permits. It saves money and time, and also expands the access of Ukrainian goods to European markets.
We remind you that Ukraine and Norway have extended the “transport visa-free regime” (simplification of international cargo transportation procedures) until June 30, 2025.
It was also reported that Ukraine and the European Commission extended the “transport visa-free regime” for one year with the possibility of its automatic extension until the end of 2025.
