Ukraine received a license from Norway to produce artillery

The Norwegian-Finnish company Nammo has given Ukraine a license to produce 155-mm artillery shells. This was reported by the press service of the Norwegian government.

According to Minister of Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin, negotiations with Nammo on a license have been going on for a long time. Moreover, this is the second license for Ukraine for the production of 155-mm artillery shells. The first is provided by KNDS/Nexter.

We remind you that the Norwegian government has also allocated 1 billion Norwegian kroner (more than $93 million) to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense.

It has also been reported that Norway has decided to transfer six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. Deliveries of the aircraft will begin this year.
