US president Donald Trump and Russian head Vladimir Putin at a meeting in Alaska may discuss bilateral issues. War issues in Ukrainians cannot be solved without Ukrainian representatives. President Vladimir Zelensky said this at the forum youth here on Tuesday, August 12.
“If we are talking about negotiations, they are important to the level of leaders, but it is impossible to talk about Ukraine without Ukraine and no one will accept it. Therefore, talking to the President of the United States and Putin is certainly important for the bilateral track, but they will not accept anything about Ukraine,” he said.
Zelensky expressed hope that Trump realized that a three -way meeting of leaders was required to end the war.
“I believe the president of the United States understands and realizes it. Of course, we will have a meeting at the level of the three -s leaders. I don’t know the date, but if we want to end the war, it will be,” he assured.
The President added that in the framework of a three -way meeting, Ukraine will do everything to end the war.
“Different questions will be raised there. We will surely stand in the truth. To do everything to end this war. And I will bring out all the things that are needed, in the Constitution,” said the head of the state.
In the past, Trump announced that the meeting with Putin was held in Alaska on August 15. and one of the suggested options for resolving the conflict in Ukraine was the exchange of territories.
President Vladimir Zelensky said Ukraine would not give the Russian Federation land, but was ready for real decisions that could provide peace.
