One of the detainees worked in the “administration” of work and then tried to hide from civil service responsibility, the other worked in the “election commission” of the Russians.
The security service detained two more collaborators who worked for the Russian Federation during the occupation of the right bank of the Kherson region. The SBU press service reported this on Thursday, May 30.
It was reported that one of the detainees was a former official of the local branch of the Social Insurance Fund. During the occupation of the regional center, he supported the Rashists, for which he received a position in the local labor administration of the Russian Federation.
Being in the ranks of a pseudo-institution, the collaborator looked for like-minded people, from whom he tried to form the “staff” of his unit. He also introduced the law of the aggressor country and switched all bank transactions to Russian rubles. For secrecy, the enemy henchman used a “pseudonym”, under which, in particular, he signed “administrative” documents,” the report said.
After the de-occupation of the regional center, the collaborator stayed in the city and then got a job at the Pension Fund, but the SBU documented his criminal activities and attempts to hide from justice in a government agency.
Another exposed collaborator, a resident of Korabelny district of Kherson, worked in the “electoral committee” of the Rashists during the occupation of the regional center.
There he campaigned for local residents to vote for “the integration of the region with Russia.” To collect “votes,” he made house-to-house visits and encouraged local residents to mark illegal ballots in favor of Russia. After the liberation of the city, the collaborator tried to hide, but the Security Service established his location and detained him,” the report added.
Both women received a message about cooperation. The detainees are in custody. They face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of assets.
It was previously reported that the SBU detained a foreigner who set fire to a substation. In mid-April, an attacker poured five cans of gasoline on the technological equipment of two electrical substations and set them on fire.
