The service explained that at 15:08 VUGD received a call on Independence of Ukraine Street in Riga, where a substance of unknown origin was allegedly found in the building. Firefighters and rescuers are currently working at the scene in cooperation with other emergency services.
The State Police of Latvia explained that at 13:54 a call was received that the Russian embassy may have received a suspicious package containing a substance of unknown origin.
