Julian Lennon spoke about his fight against a terrible disease and urged fans to take care of their health.
Julian Lennon, the eldest son of the legendary musician John Lennon, faced a difficult challenge. On his Instagram page, he shared the news that he was diagnosed with skin cancer.
The disease was diagnosed during a routine medical examination. Doctors found two tumors in his shoulder and arm. One of them turned into melanoma, a dangerous type of skin cancer.
Julian underwent a seven-hour operation in which the tumors were removed. Their samples are sent for biopsy to find out if the disease has been completely eradicated.
In his post, Lennon urged followers not to hesitate to get checked: “Obviously good news would be the best Christmas gift. Which is what I really hope… But I just want to say that this is also a timely reminder for everyone, please get checked by your doctor, it will take some time, and you may save your own life.”
