The Russian military damaged the radar of the Ukrainian integrated patriot.
A few months ago, the Petriot radar station was “serious damage”. She was sent to Germany, where industrial manufacturers said that the radar was completely destroyed, and it took several years to replace it for the new one. Major General Mikhak Keller, who coordinates the military support of Ukraine by NATO, said in an interview with Frankfurter AllGemeine Zeitung.
After that, according to the general, they turned to the NATO mission in Wisbaden, which not only coordinates assistance to Ukraine, but also provides weapons and repairs it. German Air Force specialists (Luftwaffe) worked 16 hours a day, six days a week and were able to restore radar performance.
In July, Petriot was transferred to Ukraine, and the past with the help of this radar of the Armed Forces was struck by the Russian goal.
We will recall that on August 1, the German defense minister Boris Pistorius said that Berlin would put two Patriotic air defense systems in Ukraine after reaching an agreement with the United States of America that Germany would become the first in line that received new systems and not translated.
