Famous Hollywood actor Dolph Lundgren admitted that he has been fighting cancer for eight years. He spoke about this in an interview on the program In Depth With Graham Bensinger.
He was first diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his kidney in 2015. Then he was discharged. After that, he is examined every six months. All was well for five years. However, in 2020, he was diagnosed with six new tumors.
One of them was so big, it was impossible to remove it by surgery. Hence, the actor had to undergo chemotherapy, which took a toll on him.
In early 2021, as Lundgren prepares to shoot the film Aquaman and continuity unrestrainedthe diagnosis became increasingly unfavorable, so doctors recommended that he rest and spend time with loved ones, adding that he had two to three years to live.
However, Dolph did not give up and turned to another doctor, starting a new treatment. Within three months, the tumors decreased by 30%, and in 2022, thanks to the effectiveness of the new treatment, they decreased by 90%.
It was previously reported that Sam Neill, known for playing Dr. Alan Grant in the movies jurassic park, admitted that he was diagnosed with stage III blood cancer.
