A team from Ukraine, Poland, Finland, Kazakhstan, Germany and Portugal worked on the creation of the game.
The Ukrainian band Antytila recorded the soundtrack for the shock drone simulation game Death From Above, which takes place on the territory of our country during the Russian invasion. The team announced this on Instagram.
“It was an interesting experience for us. Moreover, our team loves computer games and understands how everything works, what a big community there is in this area in Europe and in the world. And it is important that European developers are ready to support Ukraine and the Ukrainian army, what is most important, in its own way. By playing this game, players will automatically support our defense complex! As for the song, it is likely this is the “heaviest” composition in our work and nothing at all is like our previous ones. Our fans may be surprised, but you will understand everything when you see this game and connect it to the sound. In the game, the song will sound in two languages,” said the band’s frontman.
According to the team, the game will be released on the Steam gaming service in the coming months. Its peculiarity is that the developers spread the message of support for the defense of Ukraine, donating part of the funds from the release to the Army of Drones and the Turn Back Alive fund.
It is noted that the arcade simulator Death From Above allows the player to feel like a Ukrainian military operator of a strike copter, fighting against Russian invaders, knocking out enemy tanks and manpower and restoring important lines of communication.
It was previously reported that while the musicians of the Antitila group defended Ukraine from the Russian invaders, millions of hryvnias were illegally demanded from them.
The Antitila group was awarded a medal for the defense of the Kyiv region
