In implementing the decision of the Supreme Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the Ministry of Defense, a operation of the Budgetary Commission’s meeting was held, where a redistribution of funds was conducted to increase the financing of battalions, which is now in the foreground. This was announced by defense minister Denis Shmygal on Telegram on Tuesday, August 12.
“The general staff of the Ukraine’s armed forces generates a list of such units. The task is to move funds as quickly as possible,” he assured.
Shmygal noted that according to the results of the meeting, the rate decided to increase the amount of direct financing of the purchase brigades.
“It will give military units more opportunities to unite to provide their needs,” the minister explained.
“Financing will grow in accordance with the number of battalions performing battle missions. For each brigade, this is an additional ten -ten million hryvnias. On behalf of the president, now each team will receive UAH 7 million for each battalion acting in the fight against the battle.
As you know, on August 11, President Vladimir Zelensky will be held according to military needs. According to its results, the head of the state has ordered to increase the financing of military units.
Zelensky also added that there were reports to the headquarters on several other issues discussed with the Battalion Commander during his trips to Kharkovshina and Sumshchina.
