In recent days, major changes have been taking place within ADOR, the company responsible for managing NewJeans’ career. On August 27, Min Hee Jinthen CEO of the agency, was removed from her position due to the conflict with HYBE, being replaced by Kim Joo Youngan HR (human resources) specialist.

As reported by the South Korean portal Newsen (via Koreaboo), Hee Jin should remain at the head of NewJeans for just two more months, according to the businesswoman’s new contract generated by the new leadership. In addition, with the start of the new management, the director Shin Woo Seokresponsible for the production company Dolphiners Films, announced that he will no longer be able to work with the girl group due to the change.

The filmmaker, who was the director of “Ditto”, stated that, with the arrival of the new CEO, some ADOR policies were changed and, for this reason, he will no longer be able to carry out new projects with the formation, or even finish those that were in progress.

“I think ADOR’s policies have changed along with the new management. ADOR has asked us to delete the videos and channel that Dolphiners Films worked on and uploaded related to NewJeans’ ‘Ditto’ MV. Now we won’t be able to upload all the videos we originally planned to release.

Dolphiners Films has been using the Ban Heesoo YouTube channel as a portfolio and archive of our work, without making a single cent of profit. The videos and channel were made proactively, as we wanted to do something good for our fans. Dolphiners Films does not make any profit. However, since ADOR has changed their position on this, as per their request, we will be deleting everything and we can no longer make any videos public.

As of today, I believe Dolphiners Films will no longer be able to work with ADOR. We had projects that were promised between us and the members of NewJeans, but I regret that we can no longer fulfill them. I also regret the team that worked late into the night for months and, most of all, the fans who have been waiting.
