The rate of hryvnia has been reduced in relation to dollars and euro with exchange points at the beginning of the new working week. This has been confirmed by cash market tracking data on Monday, August 25th.
Thus, the average rate of selling dollars rose to 5 kopecks to 41.55 hryvnias, the euro immediately increased by 25 kopecks to 48.60 hryvnias.
Now at the exchange points they buy a dollar on average 41.05 hryvnias, and the euro – 47.60 hryvnias each.
In the interbank, American money added 2 kopecks to price and at 41.35-41.38 buying and selling UAH/dollars.
On Friday, the National Bank raised the dollar to Hryvnia after falling to a minimum from the beginning of April – 41.2839 hryvnias per 1 dollar (+0,0654 UAH). The official euro exchange rate is 47.91 hryvnias per 1 euro (-0,0725 UAH).
It was also learned that for the period on August 18-22, the National Bank was selling $ 551 million in the interbank, which is 56 million dollars less than a week before the latter. At the same time, the regulator does not buy money.
Remember that the Euro has become a major currency for the new Ukrainian savings. According to the NBU, the net purchase of the dollar was $ 17 million in July, and the Euro – 312 million in dollars terms.
