Standup discovery with its first show in 2021, ZebraThe 28-year-old comedian stood out with his 1.91 meter height, blond bob, self-confidence and carefree flow.

Madame Figaro. – My mood at this time?
Paul Mirabel: I am in search of peace and well-being. After an intense few years professionally, I am enjoying a quieter period during which I plan to relax and enjoy the people I love.
What is my next show about?
As its name suggests, For love focuses on a universal theme that questions me every day.
What a lover I am.
Romantic, passionate, and I consider being loyal.
Is promoting myself a chore?
No, but I already put so much stuff in my texts that it’s hard to argue any further.
I am in search of peace and well-being
Paul Mirabel
The question I don’t answer.
I try to protect my privacy so I fight anything intimate.
I lie in interviews.
No, but I have mastered the art of approximate answer quite well.
A subject that throws me off my hinges.
Anything involving a lack of compassion, indulgence, respect, or gratuitous mischief. I feel like I’ve gained enough confidence to report now when comments seem inappropriate.
Romantic and passionate, I consider it an honor to be faithful
Paul Mirabel
Do I still have the holy fire?
Yes, I deeply love making people laugh. And then, the scene involves putting on your title every time, because audiences are all different.
Who makes me laugh?
My close friends and people who have a strong comedic nature like Laura Phelpin as well as Jamel Debuse, Eric and Ramsey or even Florence Forrest.
Misunderstanding about me ?
Perhaps there is a misunderstanding of what I would allow from strangers on the street… I am sometimes mistaken for Mickey Mouse, they pat me on the back, pull my hair… This tendency for people to block me by mistake worries my friend.
This tendency to take me as a close friend is disturbing
Paul Mirabel
What do I like people to say about me?
That I’m a good boy. And if you can add that I’m very funny, I’m delighted.
What do I think when I look in the mirror in the morning?
I don’t really look in the mirror, I just check my appearance when necessary.
Last time I was proud of myself?
Because I’ve had a tendency to put myself down for a long time, I now try to write down every little victory. I can feel proud after playing sports… or paying a parking fine at impots.gouv.
An opinion that makes me happy.
When I hear that what I’m doing is easy, it’s because I consider it a job well done. If I look natural on stage, it’s because a lot of effort was put in beforehand. I can also deal with complex subjects, and that’s actually the idea for my second show.
My movie wishes.
I would like to be offered roles so that I can sort them later. But it’s funny because we often bridge the gap between stage and film, and I feel closer to the author than the actor.
What am I going to do after this interview?
I’m going to record the show Who wants to be a millionaire? where I play doubles with Claire Chazal.
for love By Paul Mirabelle, at the Théâtre du Variete, Paris, from September 19 to December 28 (sold out), then on tour throughout France.
