The National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the field of electronic communications, radio frequency spectrum and the provision of postal services, has announced an auction for the use of radio frequency spectrum for mobile communications. This was reported by the NKEC press service on Wednesday, September 11.
The auction for mobile frequencies is scheduled for November 11.
“The NKEK decided that “On granting licenses for the use of radio frequency spectrum in the radio frequency bands 1935-1950/2125-2140 MHz, 2355-2395 MHz and 2575-2610 MHz for cellular radio communications using the auction procedures.”
According to the decision, the terms of the auction, the terms of future licenses, and the composition of the competition commission were approved.
The auction will feature five lots in three radio frequency bands: 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz and 2600 MHz.
NKEC clarified that mobile operators can acquire additional radio frequency spectrum for the implementation of 4G to improve the capacity of their networks and the quality of communications.
