The highest result in terms of tax burden at the end of 2023 was shown by the OKKO network – 2.39 UAH/l.
The consulting group A-95 conducted a study of the level of payment of operating taxes in 2023 by the largest gas stations in Ukraine per liter of gasoline sold. Enkorr.ua writes about it on Thursday, April 25.
The tax burden per liter of fuel is calculated as the amount of revenue (income tax, VAT, personal income tax, unified social tax, etc.) divided by the number of liters sold according to cash register data.
The highest result in terms of tax burden at the end of last year – 2.39 UAH/l – was presented by the OKKO chain.
Companies with foreign capital took second and third place: Shell and AMIC. Thus, Shell’s tax burden is 2.04 UAH/l, and AMIC is 1.76 UAH/l.
The fourth and fifth rating lines are occupied by UPG and WOG with indicators of 1.67 UAH/l and 1.22 UAH/l, respectively. In the fourth quarter of 2023, the same network increased tax efficiency per liter of sales by almost one and a half times.
The second half of the top 10 includes BRSM, Avantage 7, KLO, VST and MOTTO.
According to the director of A-95, Sergei Kuyun, the general problem remains the secrecy of data on the payment of taxes by oil traders. Despite the requirements of the law, the tax authorities do not publish this data.

We remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers proposed a gradual increase in the excise tax on fuel until 2028. Excise tax rates will be closer to the minimum level established in the European Union.
