The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal emphasized that this step is an opportunity to reduce the tax burden at least for Kharkov.
In Kharkov, local authorities can exempt city businesses from taxes. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal announced this on Friday, April 12, speaking at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
“Through the government’s decision, we now allow local authorities to exempt businesses from local taxes. These are three taxes: a single tax, rent and property fees,” said the Chief Minister.
Shmygal emphasized that this step is an opportunity to reduce the tax burden at least for Kharkov.
“We will pay the lost revenues from the state budget. This applies to Kharkov, but it also applies to all other territories. We made it a universal mechanism,” explained Shmygal.
It was previously reported that at least a dozen Russian missiles hit Kharkov on the night of April 11.
