The Greek government has agreed to transfer a batch of SeaSparrow missiles to Ukraine. eKathimerini reported this on Saturday, December 28.
“These missiles, which have been in use for almost 40 years, came from the stockpiles of the Greek Navy and Air Force and were deemed unnecessary for the operation of the Greek military standards,” the statement said.
These supplies do not diminish Greece’s defense capabilities in the Aegean Sea.

As you know, in October Ukraine and Greece signed a security agreement, according to which Athens will help train pilots and technical personnel for the F-16.
The media also reported that Ukraine could receive up to 32 F-16 fighter jets from Greece.
