As a result of the attack of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on December 22 in the Rostov region, one of the largest Russian military training grounds was damaged.
The ASTRA project reports this.
According to the project, in the morning of that day a combined attack was carried out on the Rostov region.
At least four drones hit the territory of the Kadamovsky military training ground in the village of Persianovsky, Militarny reports.
It is known that Kadamovsky is subordinate to the Southern Military District of the Russian Army and has begun to expand since 2016, in particular through the construction of housing infrastructure.
As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the ammunition warehouse of the range and detonation began. There is no data yet on casualties among Russian military personnel.
Also located on the territory of the training ground is one of the garrisons of the 150th Guards Motorized Rifle Division formed in the same 2016, namely: division control, 68th and 163rd tank regiments, 102nd motorized rifle regiment, 174th reconnaissance battalion and a separate communications battalion, 152nd separate logistics battalion and 195th separate medical battalion.
Other formations of the division are located in the settlements of Millerovo, Kuzminka and Rostov, Militarny writes.
In addition, according to ASTRA sources in the emergency services of the Rostov region, a missile was shot down over the military airfield in Millerovo. No preliminary damage or casualties were recorded.
Earlier on December 20, as a result of a missile strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on December 18, the building of the Russian enterprise FKP Kamensky Combine in the Rostov region was hit.
This facility produces rigid rocket fuels, particularly for rockets and ballistic missiles.
Then analysts from the CyberMuka group released a satellite image showing that two buildings at the enterprise’s production site were critically damaged. It is not yet known what function they performed. Analysts also noted that many other buildings at the plant were protected by nets, presumably from drone strikes.
