On December 20, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution Some issues in obtaining defense during the martial law legal regimewhich actually defines the new term “Weapon of Victory”. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for Strategic Industries (Minstrategprom).
“Weapons of Victory” is a list of priority weapons, military and special equipment, missiles and ammunition, unmanned systems, electronic warfare equipment, and robotic systems produced domestically.
The resolution approved the procedure for developing a list of priority weapons and military equipment. It should be developed by the Ministry of Defense based on the needs identified by the General Staff and government customers, taking into account the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense industry, presented by the Ministry of Strategic Industries.
The list of “Weapons of Victory” will be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on the recommendation of the Ministry of Defense. It should be “the basis for producers to get long-term contracts – for 3/5/10 years, which will be a booster in the development of the Ukrainian defense industry.”
