Dmitry Peskov was asked if there is a possibility of a meeting between Putin and Trump even before the inauguration ceremony of the US President-elect.
There are no requirements for arranging a meeting between Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this, TASS reported on Monday, December 22.
“There are no real impulses yet,” he said in response to a question about whether there is a possibility of a meeting even before Trump’s inauguration, or whether there are no specific requirements or requirements for face-to-face contacts.
Earlier, Donald Trump said that Putin expressed a desire to meet with him soon to discuss the war in Ukraine.
Also last week, at his annual news conference, Putin said he was “ready” for potential talks with Trump.
Let’s remember that in November the media reported about the alleged negotiations between Trump and Putin about the war in Ukraine. Later, the Kremlin denied this information.
