The head of the Polish Ministry of Defense instructed to immediately contact the Ukrainian attache in Warsaw on this issue.

Part of the Polish government was outraged by the red and black flags of the UPA on armored personnel carriers handed over to Ukraine. In particular, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh called it a “provocation” on his microblog on X (Twitter).

That is why the Polish official refuted the video published on the profile of WarNewsPl X, where the red and black flag of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army can be seen on a Polish Rosomak armored personnel carrier. The video’s caption also contained an appeal to the Polish Ministry of Defense with a request to “intervene.”

“The UPA flags on the Rosomak armored personnel carrier that Poland provides to the Ukrainian army are a provocation that should not take place,” the minister wrote.

Kosinyak-Kamysh instructed to immediately contact the Ukrainian attache in Warsaw to clarify this issue.

It was previously reported that Poland planned to transfer 100 Rosomak armored personnel carriers to Ukraine in 2023.

Poland will buy 80 Rosomak-L wheeled armored personnel carriers
